Oldwick Animal Hospital’s new vision to increase our ability to care for our patients:

From the day I stepped into my first position as a practicing veterinarian, my goal has been to provide the best care I am capable of for my patients and their owners.

Practicing family medicine means that to provide the best possible care, I must not only know my patient, but I must also know you, the owner, to make recommendations that fit both your needs. The veterinary profession as a whole is shifting toward depersonalization, which is the polar opposite of my core belief of pet care. I believe that we can keep our care personal and local, and while emergency room options are plentiful in our area (and very much appreciated!), I believe that in many situations it is better for you to be able to seek medical attention with the doctors and staff you know.

In an effort to provide extended availability to meet that need, I have joined Oldwick Animal Hospital with 4 other area hospitals to form our own private Urgent Care and collective weekend appointment days. We will use the Hunterdon Hills Animal Hospital facility for our Saturday appointments and our new Sunday Sick/Urgent Care hours. That location will also provide same-day Sick/Urgent Care 7 days a week for overflow if we cannot accommodate your needs at Oldwick. The Hunterdon Hills facility is a resource serving only the merged group of hospitals.

Your support since Oldwick Animal Hospital opened means everything to me. Not just that you are loyal clients, returning time and again. For me, it means so much more. You, as a client and a community, have supported me through all my life experiences – the good, the bad, and the ugly! – and we have matured (can’t quite bring myself to say "grown old") together. I am privileged to be your veterinarian, and I do not take that lightly.  I am committed to continuing to provide this very special community with the best care and support that I can.
