Dr. Cailles has been practicing veterinary medicine in New Jersey for over twenty years. Prior to building this practice, Dr. Cailles spent many years working both at Martinsville Veterinary Clinic and at the emergency service hospital, Animerge, in Raritan NJ.
Dr. Cailles graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 (and is also a proud undergraduate of the University of Wisconsin, where she majored in bacteriology and microbiology). A native of southern Indiana, Jan moved to central New Jersey to begin her career in small animal medicine. In 2002, Jan moved to Tewksbury Township, where she helped to design and build her own home. She married a lifelong Tewksbury resident, Glenn Likus, and they are the parents of daughter Margeaux.
Dr. Cailles’ professional interests include emergency medicine, zoo animal medicine, and family practice. Her professional goal has been to practice a high level of medicine in a comfortable environment for the pet, the owner, and the staff. The Oldwick Animal Hospital is the culmination of this goal. Dr. Cailles feels privileged to provide care to the pets of Tewksbury Township and the surrounding communities with a staff that is unsurpassed in skill and compassion.
